Information about Coming DecadeΒΆ
Coming Decade focuses on improving the German decadal climate forecast system by integrating the latest scientific findings and developing application-oriented and regionalized climate forecasts. Coming Decade will improve decadal-scale climate predictions for Europe by advancing the decadal climate prediction system, for which first results will already be incorporated in the joint production of hindcasts and subsequent forecast analysis with the new pre-operational ICON-based system of DWD in 2024. A further improved version is planned to be delivered to DWD by the end of the project Coming Decade.
